Fr. Peter Dillon
Father Peter Dillon was born in Stanthorpe in 1955, attended Nudgee College and was ordained in 1979. He has worked in several parish appointments as well as ten years as Centacare Director and 8 years as Administrator of The Cathedral of Saint Stephen. He was appointed to Southport Catholic Parish as the first diocesan parish priest after 74 years of parish leadership by the Vincentian Fathers.

Fr. Paul Chandler
Father Paul was ordained priest in February 2006. Before going to the seminary to begin formation, he was a teacher in Catholic schools around the archdiocese, teaching upper primary classes in the areas of music and religious education. Fr. Paul was born in Toowoomba and came to Southport Catholic Parish in January 2006 as a deacon. He enjoys working with young people and children and is involved with our two schools.

Mrs. Kay Hunter
Kay has worked as Parish Secretary since 1983. She has five children and 10 grandchildren. Kay enjoys reading and watching movies.

Sister Carmel McCormick R.S.M.
Sr. Carmel McCormick R.S.M. has worked in the Parish for a number years. She loves her work which is the Religious Education of children and their parents through our Sacramental Programs, State School Catechesis and Children's Liturgy of the Word.

Sister Elisabeth Keane IBVM
Sr Elisabeth was born and educated in Sydney and brings many life experiences with her to Southport where her work focus is Liturgy and work in prisons.

Leeanne Slatyer
Leeanne works at managing and maintaining the varied resources of the Parish with a vision for the future.

Donna Stubbins
Donna is one of our administration assistants who helps with keeping our accounts up to date.

Denette Surti
Denette takes care of our office duties.

Merv Ketley
Merv is the ever diligent Maintenance Supervisor for the Parish. Responsible for everything that opens and shuts, Merv manages operations and staff of maintenance & grounds.

Derek Somerwille
Derek is our groundsman who keeps our surrounds trim and beautiful.
